jQuery is a free and open source JavaScript library that is used by Web developers to navigate HTML documents, handle events, perform animations and add Ajax interactions to Web pages. jQuery was developed by John Resig and is licensed under the MIT License and the GNU General Public License.

You can do some incredible things with jQuery. Below is a round-up of 13 awesome effects and tutorials – all using the wonderful jQuery!
